The company had just been purchased by a new owner and the brand, though iconic, had aged in an attempt to attract a wider audience. The Rock Group revived the "bad boy" and sexy image the brand had originally identified with. RG also pushed the envelope matching daring imagery and themes with high class design and style. The rebranding process included new ground-breaking ad campaigns, new lines of clothing and accessories, a Cigarette magazine for the owners, award winning boat show displays and events at high profile clubs and restaurants.
The client approached the Rock Group looking to drive traffic to their employment websites, to increase job applications and to educate prospective employees. They also were looking to reinforce the Royal Caribbean's family of brands, including Azamara and Celebrity Cruise Lines, using traditional and social media platforms. Up to that point, the client was utilizing websites with little or no branding attributes, paying for ads on high priced employment websites, receiving little traffic and leads/resumes and all data that was collected was delegated manually.
As a first step, the Rock Group redesigned all 3 websites; Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara and linked them dynamically to a CRM. Relevant video content, planned and produced by the Rock Group was then added to each site to educate and enrich both potential and existing employees. Finally the three websites were added to our proprietary social networking engine (Socioctopus) where job postings were continuously and automatically posted and onto selected social networks free of cost.
As a new, virtually unknown, non-profit organization, this clients goal was to create awareness and a buzz in the sporting community about Parkour and Freerunning worldwide. When the client approached the Rock Group they had been relying upon a traditional website, no ongoing marketing budget and a following that was very limited as it's membership was difficult to acquire on their website.
After a thorough evaluation of goals, the Rock Group decided to implement an approach most appropriate to target the younger, more socially connected demographic that the organization was trying to reach. That was achieved by moving the client to a Facebook-based online presence which incorporated events like online contests, sweepstakes and relevant ongoing content from within the Facebook communities. Rock Group also integrated the new Facebook page with Youtube to further enhance and expand it's reach, sharing rich video content to further engage it's viewers and create a sense of community and sport loyalty. This was also developed in Spanish.
